A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words...And That’s It!
Everyone knows the saying "a picture is worth 1,000 words". But, conversely, that means that 1,000 words is worth a picture. This online introductory course explores the elements of short short story writing, and works on maximizing a small amount of space. Kind of like IKEA.
Students will produce one short story a week, one thousand words or less, and also receive feedback from instructor and group members, participate in weekly activities and forums at their own pace, and have the opportunity to join in two live chat sessions each week. At the end of the session, one story from each person will be recorded (either by you or a Twin Cities performer) and available for download on iTunes.
